 My ode to System of A Down who I had the greatest pleasure of working with when I was younger - everything that makes us love rocknroll and the people who try and take it away from us. The rocknroll in Johannesburg is very much alive and kicking with characters and music that is beyond extraordinary - the chaos, the love, the hate, the sex, the passion, the angst... Let us live for rocknroll and let us breath it and be it!!!!!

This shoot was inspired not only by Waldo and his wonderful world of concepts but in the title itself "Skin on Skin", being the leather & model tied as one, a combination of natural elements used to compliment each other... We thank a tiny little vintage shop in Parkhurst called Second Attitude that popped up in the start of the year for supplying us with their phenomenal leathers. You would be mad not to pop by and check out there leathers/boots/vintage pieces/Miu Miu heels and much much more...
